'Quidnunc' is the fourth collection by Gregory Woods, a major voice in contemporary gay poetry. It is built around two long dramatic monologues spoken by English writers: Lord Byron at the end of his youth and Sir Osbert Sitwell in old age. Gregory Woods was born in Egypt in 1953 and grew up in the newly independent Ghana. He studied English and American literature at the University of East Anglia, is currently Professor of Gay and Lesbian Studies at Nottingham Trent University.
